                                     Health & Social Care                         

The course is planned so that you can learn about the caring community, including various groups and organisations working with those who have a have a disability, young individuals, vulnerable adults and older people with a range of needs, in a variety of different settings. You can start from any level of your choice. We have certificate, level 3,4,5 and 6. 

This vocational course will prepare you for jobs in the Health and Social Care sector such as support/care workers.  It can also lead on to the BTEC HNC/HND Health and Social Care or onto further study at University to gain qualifications in nursing, physiotherapy, or social work, studying at degree level.

You should have an interest in caring for other people in the community or a setting. You should be keen to learn, prepared to work hard and be interested in working with others.  You will need to be well organised and show initiative in the planning of your work.
